The following Getting Started guide provides an introduction to the PeerClick tracking platform. PeerClick tracks data generated by users that viewed and clicked on your ads to make the most of your campaigns. It allows to analyze and optimize your digital ad campaigns, create detailed reports, organize your work, and automatically optimize traffic distribution with built-in AI mechanisms. It is an essential tool for performance marketers who want to maximize their profits.

The image below visualizes how your business translates into setup in PeerClick:

When an advertisement is supposed to be seen by visitors, in a tracking language it means that you need to have a traffic source where this ad will be displayed. This is where your visitors come from. The process of promoting an offer starts in the traffic source and guides visitors along a campaign funnel. Thus, the campaign funnel needs to be created in advance. PeerClick is a place where you create such campaign funnels with either landing pages and offers or offers only. You can prepare offers on your own or get them from an affiliate network. In this guide you will see how all those elements work together.

Make sure that you have:

  • An active PeerClick account. If you do not have one, click the REGISTER TO PEERCLICK link at the top of this document to register a new account.
  • A traffic source for your first campaign. We recommend using Propellerads, that can be integrated with your PeerClick account. To learn more, go to the web page.
  • An offer to promote, supplied by affiliate networks.
  • Optionally, a landing page

The Getting Started guide consist of four steps that will teach you how to use PeerClick basic features. It is recommended to follow these steps in order. However you can skip a step if you feel that you are familiar with a subject or come back to any step to make sure that everything is clear for you.

Having configured everything accordingly to the guide, right now you can:

  • Create in-depth reports to learn more about your audiences. What phone models do users that convert the most use? Where do they come from? Which countries are not profitable?
  • Experiment and test different hypothesis. Maybe users with other types of Internet connection will be more attracted to your offer? Perhaps more specifically targeted rules will bring the most profitable users to your main offer? Which offer converts best?
  • Control your cost, revenue and profit. Is traffic that you are buying worth its price? Does your overall ROI increase when you change targeting options? How much have you earned after deducting all costs?
